Jody Hedlund's debut novel "The Preacher's Bride" caught my attention last year when I was looking for a sample of Historical Fiction to learn of the genre. I was unsure whether my own novel in progress would fall into that category. I began reading and soon forgot that I was doing research for my own work and totally fell into the era and the land that Jody wrote about. Her story completely wrapped me up in this depiction of life in the 1600's in Bedford, England. If you love Historical Romance, you will be blown away by "The Preacher's Bride".
