Cindy ~ The Ethereal Chick ~

Hello Friends,

I am a lover of books! And small towns! I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, but have lived in a small town in Southern Wisconsin for many years.. Recently, I moved to my current residence of  Princeville, Illinois, another small town. I have three children and 6 grandchildren and an array of grand pets from boxers and coon dogs to bearded dragons and Llamas. Yes, you read me right, llamas! They all make me smile.

My favorite thing to do, is to write! I have authored many short stories and I have been blessed to have two of them published in anthologies named, 12 Days of Christmas - 2009 and Shambelurking. I've also written poetry and contributed to Soft Whispers Blog at http:/www.softwhisps.blogspot.com. My "baby" is a generational trilogy that I have been working on for two years. Book One will soon be published by TreasureLine Publishing. Another of my blogs is The Heart of Writing at http:/www.theheartofwriting.blogspot.com. Facebook pages I am affiliated with are, my page Cindy Schuerr and Authors Associated with TLP

I am so excited to be here with this talented and creative group of women. Thank you, Silvina for inviting me.

  2. Not quite sure what they do. They belong to my grandson in Glen Rose, Texas. I believe they sell the fur. ?????

  3. I actually think I had a llama sweater once...warm...itchy...but warm! Ever since Napoleon Dynamite, I have to smile when I hear that people have llamas.
PS: I think Glen Rose is around me somewhere.

  4. You are about 1 or 1 1/2 hrs away depending on where you are in Dallas.

  5. Cynthia I'm so glad you could join us. I must admit I have a little nick name envy. I just learned that ethereal means to be extremely delicate or refined, heavenly or celestial. How can ya top that?!

  6. Debbie, thank you! I'm glad to be here.

There is a story behind that name and don't let it fool you, as much as I would love to be all those things, I stop short of heavenly or celestial. OK, short of delicate and refined, also. :-)Hmmm, maybe I should consider changing it.......LOL!

  7. Do not change the name, Cindy. It's perfect for you! One of my favorite authors and people in general -- I'm pleased to see you doing this.
