About the Author
Margaret Sarah Bechtel grew up in New England; and she spent nine years in Florida and is currently living in Virginia with her family and Golden retriever.
In The Land Of Winter is her first novel was published in May 2010 and is available through Createspace publishing and Amazon.com.
Margaret is thirty and started writing In The Land Of Winter in the fall of 2009 after taking some time off from nursing school.
The idea for the novel came from a recurring dream about a girl drifting in the North Sea at night, with a lighthouse just off in the distance. Margaret felt Kate London had something to say.

I love the premise of being stranded on an island, that is always romantic, and freaky at the same time! I just met Margaret, and she's a great lady!
